How long does it take to install the Cinch Tarp Enclosure system?

Installation times vary depending on project size, but our systems are designed for efficient setup. Most enclosures can be installed significantly faster than traditional methods, helping crews stay on schedule and reduce downtime.

It is a hoarding system.

What are the cinch tarps made of?

PVC coated fabric.

What are the cinch tarps used for?

It provides an efficient and cost-effective method of enclosing the construction site. The system helps to better control the environment and therefore improving productivity.

Do the tarps come in standard sizes?

No. They can be tailored to the job site needs. However, there are limitations:

Max width: 19ft

Max length: although the tarps could be made as long as 100ft or more, we recommend a maximum length of approximately 15 ft.

How are the tarps attached to the building?

To either steel, concrete or mass timber. Contact us to discuss the various anchoring options.

Is there an overlap of the tarps?

Yes, to improve the enclosure, the tarps overlap 12″ along the sides and around 36″ at the top and bottom.

Can I have openings within the tarps?

Yes. Doors with zippers on 3 sides (sides & bottom) could be rolled up to allow traffic to go through. Doors are usually installed at construction elevator access, bridges, doorways between new and old construction areas, etc.

Is the cinch tarpaulin system water tight?

No, although the system does reduce the amount of rain, snow, wind, etc.

Does the cinch tarpaulin system provide edge protection?

No, the system is only used to enclose the construction site. An edge protection system is required to be installed in addition to the cinch tarpaulin enclosure.

Are the cinch tarps insulated?

No.

Do the cinch tarps have a fire retardant?

Yes, the tarps meet the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California Fire Marshall.

How heavy is the tarp system?

It depends on the length, width and amount of accessories added.

How much lead time is required from ordering to delivery?

Once the shop drawings have been approved, the fabrication of the cinch tarpaulins takes approximately 10-12 weeks.

What colors are offered?

Black is the standard color. Other colors are available for additional cost.

Can a legend/brand be added to the tarp?

Yes, branding, logos, etc. can be added for additional cost.

Do the tarps offer UV protection?

Yes.

How are the tarps delivered?

The tarps are individually packed and stacked on pallets. The packing is clearly marked with the same reference number as provided in the shop drawings.
